C-266.1 Declaration of interdependence
“We, the people” doesn’t really do it as a declaration of interdependence. And it suggests little more than an aggregate. It fails as a recipe. Lincoln, however, chose to say “people” when talking about government. Today, “public” has a similar B-speak problem, as the double concept – and thoughtknot – of “public opinion” illustrates.
Lincoln also expanded the multiple prepositioning re “people” – OF, BY and FOR – to prepositional phrases: “of the people, by the people and for the people” … endowing the needed functionality with added gravity.
The steps Forward that we need to make and take for selves realization*, of Individual and Community – and of the Union which is their needed CEM achievement -- require a procedural technology of language to leverage Forward the Mind CEM Move molecular step capability to meet our needed functionality.
